About the speaker

Martin Adams brings more than a decade of experience to play as a founder, director, and investor in the areas of technology, media and blockchain. He is CEO and Co-Founder of Codec; a company which specialises in Artificial Intelligence Marketing.

Martin helped to start one of the world’s first social media agencies more than 10 years ago. He studied at Harvard Law School, and whilst there he worked with the famous street-artist Shepard Fairey, advising on digital issues and defending him in a legal battle over the famous Obama ‘Hope’ poster- one of the most high profile intellectual property cases ever contested, receiving coverage in the New York Times, Guardian and BBC.

Later, Martin founded the Digital Leadership Council and the Social Media Unit at University College London to promote wider discussion at the policy and political level around tech and digital in the UK and Europe. Additionally he also co-founded mediaprotocol.org and is an executive advisor. Adams helps companies think about digital innovation that really works.
